Unfortunately, this photo does not do the M&M Steam bar justice. It sold raw and cooked seafood. As I recall, the M&M ended operations after Hurricane Sandy.

M & M offered mussels, clams, shrimp, crabs, fish, lobsters and other seafood.

The building was still standing as of November 2019.

  1. My Mom loved this place !!!!! Every summer in the 70’s Dad would take us down to LBI for a week. We always stayed somewhere around Bay Village in Beach Haven. Mom would either go out and catch crab in the bay or buy a bushel from the M&M steam bar. Oh the crab cakes !!!! Take me back to the day at the Jersey shore………..
