Kyle's Review
We stopped in during the middle of the week for a late lunch. There was a nice ocean breeze so we opted to eat under the awning. The porch is roomy with a nice distance between he tables
I ordered the Prosciutto Di Parma which was a small sandwich with a delicious filling of Proscuitto, Mozzarella, Tuscan Olive Oil and Tomato/basil with a salad. ($10.50) All of it was delicious. For desert I ordered a Crostata. That is a large cookie with fruit and a sweet sauce. That was delicious. ($7)
The service was attentive and the atmosphere relaxed. You can also try the tea for $19 which is a pot of tea and tea sandwiches.
The restaurant is comprised of a number of small, intimate rooms with a comfortable Victorian atmosphere. The porch under the awning is comfortable. If you were going to go in the evening, you might want to make sure you are prepared for mosquitoes and cool breezes.

I had lunch at the Green Gables on the outside porch. The floor is colored chartreuse pink, the walls are turquoise green. Hydrangea white and green floral tablecloths graced the tables. Orchid-filled vases centered the table. Service is very friendly. I had the tea sandwiches – Proscuitto on a stick, egg salad, lox on bread, pickled herring, and mozzarella and tomato. All very good for the light appetite. The miniature pastry tray consisted of crème brulee – unique lemon infusion, biscuit with Devonshire cream, chocolate covered strawberries and cookies.
