The Harvey Cedars Bible Conference was formerly the Harvey Cedars Hotel.

The Hotel was begun in the 1830’s and expanded in the late 1800’s.  The Hotel was a camp and was abandoned for 10 years. It eventually became the home of The Harvey Cedars Bible Conference. The interior has undergone extensive renovations and changes but the exterior is true to it’s 1800’s look. This building is the last of the Great Hotels on Long Beach Island. The others: The Hotel Baldwin, The original Engleside, The Parry House, Bonds Long Beach House are gone. Also gone are the Sunset and Oceanic Hotels in Barnegat Light.
