A look at Long Beach Island, NJ
The LBI Trailer Park was a fixture on Long Beach Island for Decades. It was located in the Holgate/Inlet section and provided some of the most affordable housing on the island. Unfortunately the owners decided to not rebuild after Hurricane Sandy.
The only remaining Park is Lindy’s, a much smaller park on the bay side. The yearly rent at the time was about $7000 which was much less than the mortgage, insurance, taxes and flood insurance for almost any home on the island.
