A look at Long Beach Island, New Jersey

Museums and Attractions

Long Beach Island has some interesting and informative museums.

Beach Haven has the Maritime Museum on Dock Road and the Long Beach Island Museum which is housed in a former church. There is also a small but worthwhile museum in the Beach Haven Public Library.

If you are in Barnegat Light, the Barnegat Light Museum is a small but very interesting place to visit. There is also a small visitor center with exhibits at the Barnegat Lighthouse Park.

Across the bay, in Tuckerton, you will find the Tuckerton Seaport Museum which is a great place to spend a day.
