Long Beach Township
Long Beach Township spans the length of the island. It is separated by Beach Haven, Ship Bottom, Surf City and Harvey Cedars.
The Beach House Restaurant is located about five miles south of the causeway on the Boulevard. . We stopped in early in the season in 2017 and had a fantastic meal. It is a BYOB so bring a bottle. At the very south end of Long Beach Island, in Holgate, there is a beach area for fishing and bathing. These activities are dependent on the condition of the beach and nesting birds. There is a small parking area (Free in 2018) along with restrooms. Bowker’s is a short walk if you want to grab something to eat.
The Hudson house is a no-frills local bar located on 13th street between Long Beach Boulevard and North Beach Avenue in the middle of a residential neighborhood. There is very limited parking available. Many visitors walk or bicycle.Continue reading No tags for this post.
